I have created this blog for Tau State members to be informed of current information related to International and Tau State Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. It will also enable members to respond with questions and comments. I will try to have a link to the blog on the Tau State Website.
Today is Veteran's Day. We should pause to honor those who have or who are currently served in the military. Please thank them for their commitment to defending our country, its ideals, and freedom for others throughout the world. Imagine what our country would be like had they not fought to preserve our democracy and freedom. They have Inspired us for many generations and may it continue with future generations. Remember them by honoring them today and every day. Ask them to share a story with you about their experiences and service.

- I have been a member of DKG since 1982 - first Lambda Chapter and then Beta Alpha in 1986. I have served as President of our chapter for two terms as well as chair of other committees. I have been Professional Affairs Chair, Corresponding Secretary,and First Vice President before being elected President in 2009 of Tau State.I have attended three International Conventions (Minneapolis, San Diego, and Chicago). I have attended two NW Regional (Vancouver and Portland).I taught in the Owatonna Schools for 32 years, retiring in 2000. I still substitute whenever I can.
